003 - 5 steps to gain control of your workload

In today’s episode, I talk through my 5-step method for getting to grips with and being more in control of your workload.

When things get overwhelming, we may feel out of control and tend to get caught up on things we can’t control.

The 5-step method helps us to stay objective and lean into what we can control.

Grab a pen & paper and follow along:

1.        How does an item of your work typically start?

2.        What are the main steps you take to complete that item of work?

3.        What steps do you find most painful when completing this work?

4.        What is within your control to make less painful?

5.        What are some simple things you can do to make painful steps less painful?
